Our annual Higher Education Advice Morning goes virtual for 2021!
This year we'd love to invite recent leavers to talk to both Year 10 and Lower Sixth students via Zoom about life in the Sixth Form at St Helen's, in addition to sharing your experiences of University.
The event will take place in two parts as follows:
Part 1- approx 9:50am - 10:25 (or P2 if that's easier!) : Life in St Helen's Sixth Form: sharing your experiences with our current Year 10 students.
Come along to this session if you would be happy to share your experience of being in the Sixth Form at St Helen's. Whether you joined in Year 12 from another school, or if you decided to stay on after joining in Year 5,7 or 9. what made you choose to join our Sixth Form and what elements of school life did you most enjoy and benefit from?
Part 2 - approx 10:25am -12:05 (or P3/4): Higher education advice session: Sharing top tips and guidance on choosing a university, higher education course or apprenticeship.
Come along to this session if you would be happy to share your top tips on your university or apprenticeship. As you will probably remember from these sessions yourself, students gain a great deal hearing from our alumnae on everything from course choice, to campus life, accommodation options, societies to join and nightlife, right through to budgeting!
You are very welcome to attend both sessions if you are able to. We are asking for expressions of interest to start with so that we can ensure a mix of universities and advice.
Please express your interest no later than Friday 25 June so that we can collate your responses. We will get back in touch you the week before the event to let you know final details, timings and Zoom links to join.
Please do get in touch should you have any questions.
