As we approach our 125th anniversary in 2028, we wish to confirm our commitment to our charitable origins with the 125 Bursary Appeal, launched in 2024, and through which we can continue to provide full bursaries and Sixth Form bursaries to support the education of brilliant young women.
We are asking each member of the school community to support the appeal by pledging just £25 a year over five years. But if you prefer you can, of course, make a one-off or a regular gift of whatever value you choose.
Our vision is that with your support we can achieve something of profound and lasting value as we continue our vital work of focussing on girls' education, developing extraordinary young women, and transforming the lives of those talented students who otherwise could not afford to come to this wonderful school.

"How blessed we are to have had the excellent education we did at St Helen’s. But there are talented, deserving girls out there whose families are unable to afford the school fees. This is why I am proud to support the 125 Bursary Appeal, so that more deserving girls can benefit from the education that we had."

Governor and former parent
"St Helen and St Katharine has a long-standing history of providing bursaries to support girls who would otherwise not be able to attend the School. That approach has contributed over the years to the ethos of the School and its values. As current custodians of the School I think it is vitally important we continue that tradition."
Belinda Bucknall KC
Arbitrator and alumna (1961)
"Girls' education really matters and St Helens offers the best there is to be had. Widening access is a wonderful way to celebrate the school’s 125th anniversary."
