As you may have seen through our recent social media channels, the Digital Archives have been refreshed. We hope that you enjoyed the archive photographs shared through the advent calendar during December. Throughout 2024 we added a large volume of photographs to the Digital Archives. This online archive now includes group photos of Upper Sixth students and Year 11 students from 1992 onwards. Of interest to others might be the numerous sport team photos uploaded from the 1990s through to more recent times. Additionally, for those keen to view the school site today versus in past eras, many photographs have been uploaded to this section of the Digital Archives.
On the website are many other archive materials, including the School Magazines and many drama production programmes, with some items dating back to 1908. If there are any particular documents or photographs which you would like to browse in the Digital Archives, but are not yet uploaded, please get in touch. Donations of materials for this purpose are always welcome. We hope you will enjoy this wonderful resource and do contact us with any feedback as we are keen to continue enhancing and growing the Digital Archives.
Accessing the Digital Archives
You can access the Digital Archives through the SHSK Society website by clicking on School Archives tab on the top right of the screen. Please note that you will need to log in to the SHSK Society website to browse the materials. Contact us at alumnae@shsk.org.uk with any comments or suggestions.
